The School Tennis Program is a special program designed to offer tennis coaching to Primary Schools and High schools as part of their extra curricular activities. This program runs concurrently with the school calendar.
How it works
It starts by the schools contracting us to teach tennis to their students.
The location of the class varies from school to school.
Some prefer having the classes at our location whilst others prefer having us deliver classes to them, on the school’s compound.
If a school requests us to teach at their location and they have no tennis courts, we use portable tennis nets and dividers to create temporary courts on their compound.
Coaching Hours
The lesson duration is normally 1 hour but we do customize sessions according to the needs of the institution.
Which teaching location is ideal?
How ideal the teaching location is depends on the school.
- If the school is too far from our location, then clearly our location wont be ideal.
- If the students are beginners, the location makes no difference. They can learn on any surface comfortably.
- If the students are intermediate/advanced, then they need proper courts, with a proper surface, proper dimensions and a full sized net.
- If the school has no space in their compound then they have no choice but to either bring their students to our location or rent space near their school.
- The budget – teaching at the school’s location will be more expensive because of the portable equipment, the transport cost and travel time.
Teaching tennis on proper tennis courts with the right dimensions, the right surface and full-sized nets is always ideal. However, if it is inconvenient to ferry the students to our location, then we can always deliver coaches and equipment to the school.
